◆The story of tanzanite

It was discovered in a mine in Tanzania, East Africa in 1967, and became a popular stone in the 1980s, especially in the United States.

As its name suggests, tanzanite, which means "stone of Tanzania," is characterized by its beautiful blue-purple color, which resembles the sunset sky of Kilimanjaro.

Depending on the viewing angle, the blue or purple color may become stronger, or it may appear blue and purple, or purple and red at the same time.
