Moonlight Treasure Sword (Gekkou Houken)
A one-of-a-kind royal jewel sword that embodies kingship and spirituality.
This piece is a golden sword, the only one in the world, that was presented to the Maharaja of Jaipur, India, in the 1950s. This is not just a piece of armor, but a piece of ``ceremonial royal jewelry'' that symbolizes royal authority, protection, wealth, and prestige, and it took a tremendous amount of time and the highest level of skill to create it.
From the handle to the sheath, the surface is covered with dazzling old-cut diamonds and unheated natural rubies with a deep red glow. All of these are of the highest grade and were only allowed to be used by royalty and aristocrats at the time. The setting uses the traditional "Kundan technique" from Jaipur, India, and each jewel is precisely and firmly inlaid by the hands of skilled craftsmen.
The beautifully curved blade is made of pure silver and creates a vivid contrast with the golden handle. The detailed hand-carved botanical patterns and mystical design symbolizing moonlight are believed to have deep spirituality and protect the owner with great power.
With a total weight of approximately 637g, of which the golden portion is approximately 561g (20-24K gold), this piece has overwhelming value just from the material itself. It is a historical heritage that conveys the glory and aesthetic sense of the Maharaja to the present day, and is the ultimate collector's item with immeasurable value as a work of art or jewelry.
