An emotional encounter with a customer
In the world of jewelry, I have met many wonderful customers.
Among them, I would like to introduce five episodes that particularly left an impression on me.
1. A gift of 3 billion yen and deep compassion
A customer came to our store looking for a 10ct D FL 3EX TYPE 2A, a completely colorless, completely flawless, and perfectly cut diamond that is rare in the world, and wanted to give it to her mother as a gift for her earrings.
You can also take a look at the 30ct and 50ct D FL 3EX TYPE2A in stock, and the diamond will also be given away. Immediately, I received a remittance of 3 billion yen, and I was deeply moved by the kindness and consideration of that person.
For example, when you go to have a product delivered, if you choose station A as the nearest station, you will be asked to contact us when you arrive at station B, which is a little before station A. As soon as they contact me, they will drive me to A Station to pick me up.
When I contacted them after arriving at Station A, it would take some time for them to pick me up, and they were very considerate and didn't want to keep me waiting even a little bit. Even though they said they would make me wait, it would only be a minute or two since they were coming in a Porsche, but they still wanted to make sure I didn't take up too much time.
I have always told customers to contact me when they arrive at the nearest station, but I was moved by their compassion, which was much deeper than that. He was a person whose consideration for others was limitless and kind.
There are many other things to talk about, but even though he is the owner of a large global company, he is a wonderful customer without the slightest hint of bossiness.
He showed me his planner, which was fully booked until September 2028, but there was one free week in the spring of next year, and he even offered me a ticket to take my family on a trip to Europe for that week.
The customer who bought us 3 billion yen worth of diamonds turned out to be an extraordinary customer who, in return, gave us thoughtfulness, service, and gifts.
2. Customers with Nobel Prize-level brains who use diamonds for world peace
A customer came to us who wanted to buy 10 diamonds that were 10ct larger. I thought they wouldn't buy everything, but they bought everything I had prepared, and they paid me on the spot with hundreds of millions of yen in cash from the parked McLaren F1, and I was told, ``Please let me know when it's ready again.''
That year, we purchased over 50 10ct larger diamonds.
One day, he wanted to see our cutting factory in India, so we went there on JAL, but he also went on a private jet, spent two weeks together looking at diamonds, and ended up buying about 4 billion yen in total.
This person has never gotten angry, his clothes are normal, and there is nothing in his appearance that would suggest that he is rich.
However, he was a man with assets worth over several hundred billion yen all over the world, and was using diamonds for world peace.
He doesn't even wear a watch on a regular basis, but he has purchased watches worth hundreds of millions of yen from us.
I was really surprised when I was told that he had such a different level of ability that he could remember everything he saw once and had no concept of forgetting it.
He had a Nobel Prize-level brain, was a researcher in mathematics and physics, was a painter, a monk, and an investor, and was a customer full of kindness that I had never met before.

3. Connections with hundreds of customers that started as an enka singer
Thirty years ago, an enka singer saw our advertisement and came to buy jewelry with her daughter, who was in middle school at the time.
The relationship with the customer who bought dozens of items and said "cheap, cheap" has continued ever since.
We have become a family member, buying jewelry every month and every year, and going on trips overseas together.
A man who worked part-time at a restaurant run by the customer became an apprentice to this singer, and eventually became a star in the enka world today, competing in the Kohaku Uta Gassen.
And the star also started buying a lot of jewelry.
This is a heartwarming story about how a single connection led to hundreds of customers.
4. Business with Saudi Arabia started in Dubai
Two months ago, we were the only Japanese company to exhibit at the International Jewelry Exhibition in Dubai.
At that time, Saudi Arabia's No. 1 jeweler happened to be staying at the hotel I was staying at, and I had the opportunity to meet him at the breakfast buffet every morning.
We hit it off and decided to show each other's booths. When the company's president saw my booth, he complimented me greatly, saying, ``This is a museum!'' and requested a business partnership.
As a result, we will be delivering diamonds to Saudi Arabia next month, and orders have already exceeded 700 million yen for a total of 5,000 carats.
5.Customers who ordered diamonds between 10 billion yen and 20 billion yen
In January of this year, a representative of a customer came to us who wanted to order a diamond worth 10 billion to 20 billion yen.
Before proceeding with the contract, I asked for the name of the final buyer, but the agent was unable to provide an answer.
When I tried to refuse, he prefaced it with, "It's a secret, but..." and then shockingly confessed, "Actually, I'm ○chi○."
I could not hide my surprise, but I decided that there was a possibility that some kind of problem might arise, so I declined the offer at a later date.
6. A customer cried for 90 minutes after seeing the highest quality diamond.
A customer who came to purchase a 3ct D FL EX EX diamond was overwhelmed by its beauty.
The moment I saw it, my whole body trembled and I exclaimed, "It's amazing, it's amazing, it's amazing!" and then I couldn't stop crying.
The tears lasted for an hour and a half, all the while trembling and staring at the diamond.
There are many customers who shed tears when they see the highest quality diamonds, but this was the first time in my experience that I had to cry and tremble for an hour and a half.
In the end, you purchased the diamond.

Touching encounters with customers enrich my life.
We will continue to do our best to make our customers happy.
